Trade Mission To Seoul
World Trade Center Alaska and the State of Alaska invite you to participate in a trade mission to Seoul, Korea. Korea is Alaska's long-standing #2 trading partner. Last year, exports from Alaska to Korea totaled $566 million, up 36% from the previous year. Seafood, fertilizer, minerals and forest products are the major Alaskan exports to the country.
The mission coincides with the 3rd Annual Korea-Pacific U.S. States Joint Conference that will include business and government officials from Alaska, Washington, Oregon, California and Hawaii as well as Korean counterparts with business interests in these states. The mission and conference will focus on one-on-one business meetings between mission participants and potential Korean customers or partners. There will also be briefings by United States and Korean government. In addition, there will be an Alaska Reception to thank current customers and to meet potential customers and partners.
