Proposals Due For November Board Of Game Meeting

The Alaska Board of Game (BOG) is accepting proposals to change hunting and trapping regulations in Southeast Alaska through Friday August 6, 2004. The BOG accepts proposals from the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), local advisory committees, other groups and organizations, as well as from members of the public. The proposals will be considered by the BOG during a meeting this November 2-5 at the Westmark Baranof Hotel in Juneau.

Topics open for consideration include hunting and trapping seasons and bag limits for all game species, methods and means, use of game, permit requirements, and restricted areas in Game Management Units 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5.

Proposal forms may be obtained from any ADF&G office in the State, the Boards Support Section office in Juneau at (907) 465-4110, or from the Boards Support Section website at http://www.state.ak.us/adfg/boards/bordhome.htm.
